The patient was referred to me for removal of a broken tool from the mesial root canal of the upper left sixth tooth.

Tool dimensions: length 4mm, diameter 0.10mm.

The problem in removal of the tool was its location. The tool was stuck for 2mm of its length in the maxillary sinus and was broken outside the root canal curvature.
