Endodontics, i.e. root canal treatment is a narrow and highly-specialized field of dentistry dealing with treatment of tooth pulp diseases. It requires above-average skills of the operator, expensive instruments and modern equipment.
Endodontic treatment consists in removal of the pulp from the chamber and the system of root canals of the teeth, mechanical and chemical preparation of the canals and their tight filling.
Apart from root canal treatment in my practice I have specialized in particular in treatment of complications, which arose during endodontic treatments, consisting in:
- removal of broken tools,
- endodontic surgery,
- closure of perforation,
- removal of sealer and gutta-percha from the bones,
- closure of odontogenic fistula.
